This homemade costume for pets entered our 2017 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kristi, the 'Hairy Pawter & Pawfessor Dumbledog' costume creator:
Max is a 4 year old boxer/beagle mix who is an avid Harry Potter fan. His brother Quigley Jones is a bichon who prefers the sage wisdom of Dumbledore.
Both dogs are rescues - I pieced together their costumes over several months (since February/March) & anything I couldn't find, I made myself (i.e., Quigley's Dumbledore hat). I attached the Phoenix & Hedwig the owl to their backs. Additionally, we had to have Quigley's groomers leave his beard alone to ensure it could be pulled into a ponytail like Dumbledore's!
