This homemade costume for men entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Barbara, the 'Horton' costume creator:
My son teaches 1st grade and is very involved with inspiring his kids so this year he picked "Horton, Hears a Who" Made with foam to shape the ears alone with wire and shaped on a bicycle helmet, body plush gray material, hula hoop Velcro to the inside to hold shape, fiber fill hands and slippers inside feet hot glue paper Mache to shape the trunk then covered with material. the WHO village was a pearl sewn to a pink puff ball glued to a yellow silly straw painted with green stripes . Made without pattern worked design on scrap paper and cheap material
