Kermit and Miss Piggy Costume

Me and my boyfriend wanted to do a couples costume and after much deliberation we decided on Kermit and Miss Piggy! He wanted something simple and we didn’t want to spend a lot of money! For Miss Piggy, I wore my nieces prom dress and a princess tiara! I wore pearls as a necklace and some pearl bracelets and other bracelets and a big blingy ring bought at a dollar store... this jewelry was worn over my long black gloves and a black feather boa! The pig ears and snout and tail were from a costume store and the pig tail i attached at the back of my dress! Wore pretty makeup and curled my hair!
Kermit’s top was made with fleece fabric that was sewn into an hoodie! Then the lighter greenish yellow cut out around his neck was made out of felt fabric which we just cut and placed over his head! His eyes were made with styrofoam balls cut in half and hot glued onto the hood of his hoodie and the blacks of his eyes were drawn on with jiffy marker! He wore his green work gloves and his regular blue jeans and shoes! We then covered some cardboard with green felt material and tied it to the top of his shoes for Kermit’s feet!
