This homemade costume for boys entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kayla, the 'Kidnapped Mermaid' costume creator:
This is my son Cayden. We decided to make him a kidnapped mermaid. This costume took a lot of work, and mainly time. We used a lot of materials we already had. My advice, if you're trying to recreate this look, you, or your child, will need pants 3 or 4 sizes bigger than they are, to make the pirate look real.
