Minecraft Costume

my son Ethan was obsessed with Minecraft so we just HAD to be Steve (or something like him)for Halloween! Materials were boxes and paint. we cut arm and neck holes out of a large box and cut off the sides of a box for the head. My husband took the lining out of a hardhat and hot glued it ito the box head to keep it from spinning when my son's head turned. they carefully painted all the pixels onto the body and head, and voila, Minecraft! he had a diamond sword already and I found a cheap minecraft lantern for accessories. it was a huge hit!
