This homemade costume for couples entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Joan, the 'Morticia Addams and Lurch' costume creator:
Went "old school" and did Mortica Addams and Lurch from The Addams Family. His costume came from Goodwill and hand crafted lifts to give added height. I started with a sheath dress, adding fabric and lace to the arms and bottom of the dress. I added lace to the shoulders to give the iconic V neck .Then I added small gauge tubing to keep the bottom faired out . We did our own makeup .We went to 2 parties and wine 3rd place at one. Everyone knew who we were and we had a great time!
