This homemade costume for kids entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.

A word from Sean, the 'Operation Game' costume creator:

My son Mason is wearing this costume. This is a FULLY FUNCTIONAL operation game with a wireless head/hairpiece.

All the game pieces were hand made. After the board was made, we cut out each opening for the game pieces. Each opening was surrounded with foil tape which conducts electricity. The foil tape is all connected to a wireless remote. When you use the attached tweezers/tongs to try and remove a piece and accidentally touch the sides, the remote is activated. This sends a signal to the headpiece which activates a buzzer AND lights up the nose, just like the game! We also made a covering for the sides/back was well as a neck support.

Although this is my sons costume, I can wear it too! We had fun making this, and all ages love to play it! He won first place in his age group at our local Trunk-or-treat this year!

You rock! I am quite impressed. Last question...how did you blow up the game board? I tried yesterday at Office Depot but they had copyright issues ;(

I just saved a picture that I found online of the game board and had it printed at Staples, they didn't say anything about not being able to print it.
