This homemade costume for boys entered our 2013 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Wayne, the 'Original Tron' costume creator:
My son recently watched the 1982 Disney Tron movie and asked about being Tron for Halloween. I found that they used hockey gear for the movie outfits, thats where I started. I crafted the costume from painted hockey pads, shin guards, a helmet, blue sweat pants/shirt and around 150 string led lights. The lights are battery powered and I hot glued the battery pack and leds to each piece. It took me around 10 hours to complete and cost around $100.
