This homemade costume for women entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Vivian, the 'Persephone' costume creator:
Persephone- goddess of springtime and queen of greek underworld.
Chosen because she's been on elf my favorite goddesses since I was a young girl.
Forevere 21 lace dress, which I sewed in detailing on sleeves and neckline; store bought crown , painted white to resemble bones and added almost dead roses to head wear along with lili of the valley resembling flowers. And jewelry resembling pomegranate seeds to go with her story.
