This homemade costume for women entered our 2012 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kara, the 'Poison Ivy' costume creator:
My name is Kara and this year I decided I wanted to be Poison Ivy for Halloween. All of the store costumes were terrible so for the first time in my life I decided I was going to make it myself! I was very inspired by Uma Therman as Poison Ivy but I wanted to give it a little bit of my own twist as well! I think the hardest part was making the leaves that went over my eyebrows because I had to hot glue together fake leaves and place them so they created the perfect arch over my brow and went up high enough to my hair. I then dipped them in glue and poured glitter all over them. Days later they were perfect! I hope you like my costume!
