Raggedy Ann Costume

Austyn as Raggedy Ann! A childhood favorite of mine. I was rummaging through a pole of her 6 month clothes and thought it was a good print for raggedy ann. Grabbed seam rippers and got started. No pattern, just imagination. The apron and pants were fabric quarter scraps. For the wig I used a crocheted headband and looped the yarn as if it were a tutu. I took 3 pieces of elastic, sewed bunches of yarn, and attached them to the headband so it would cover her entire head. I wanted it to be comfortable so she wouldn't rip it off like I imagine she would with a hot heavy wig. It was perfect and fits all sizes 😃
