Sushi Bar Couples Costume

My wife and I are wearing this Sushi Chef and Geisha waitress costume. This idea came from us being huge food and restaurant connoisseurs. Our local sushi bar is down the street gave us all the ideas on what it would take to make this costume. After many visits, we made a list of all the fine details it would take to pull off this costume. For Halloween 2013, we wanted to give everyone the Japanese Restaurant experience.

The entire structure of the sushi bar was diy along with the fish on the inside refrigeration units. The structure was made from PVC pipe and plastic zip ties. The shelving unit was made out of cardboard boxes and packaging tape. All lights and nic nacs were gathered from a recent trip to Japan and local thrifts store finds.

Chef outfit kimono was found as a womens nightgown at a local thrift store along with Thai fisherman pants.
Geisha out fit was purchased through amazon and makeup was done by my wife.

Both men's and women's costume with sushi bar was under 150. The reactions we got from everyone was PRICELESS.
