This homemade costume for boys entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kara, the 'Thomas the Train' costume creator:
My 3 year old son Xander is obsessed with Thomas. I couldn't find a single Thomas costume so we found an idea on pinterest and built this one out of a box, masking tape and paint. The wheels and face were from google. We cut out the top of the box and the wheels using leftover pieces to form the front. A bucket and an old oatmeal container made up the face and the funnel. I sewed up straps to hold the costume up and secured everything with masking tape, crazy glue and a stitch as needed.
