Top Gun Costume

My 19 month old son is obsessed with planes so what better costume than Maverick from Top Gun!! Me and his Grandfather constructed this. It is a yard work wagon with his car seat attached. The body is all cardboard held on by trim and wire ties. We painted it with gray primer and stenciled on details. The flames are construction paper with red lights inside. The missles are pipe with camo tape. We attached flashlights to wings as well. This costume came with my sisters equipped as ground crew which made this costume extra safe. Our final touch was playing the Top Gun soundtrack as he trick or treated.
