This homemade costume for families entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Katie, the 'Mitchell's Zoo' costume creator:
Our three young kids ages 4,5 and 7 decided they wanted to be animals this year for Halloween. I ran with their idea and made these masks (wintercroft website) out of poster board and then painted them. I found the costumes online and at a second time around store. I ordered the lion costume on Amazon for our dog Rocket. I was the zoo keeper of all the wild animals! My mom made my vest. My mom also made the trick or treat baskets. We decorated our campsite in a Zoo Theme!
