Harietta the Hedgehog Costume

Ezra Grace is wearing this Diy Hedgehog made from a pillow case cover and faux fur throw. Hedgehogs are so cute and I loved pictures of them being held belly up. That is how I got this brilliant idea for my daughter as she is so cute on her play mat looking up at me.

I cut pillow-stuffings (of a normal bed pillow) to round out the corners on one end and make a point at the other and insert it into the 24x24in shaggy pillow case cover.

I used the faux fur throw as the belly by cutting out head, arm and leg holes with an addition of a belly heart. I also used this to create ears. Using hot glue I made the ears a bit more dimensional. I sewed the ears on and sewed the bottom inner leg portion but used snaps to keep the other areas in place when she wears it for easy wearing capabilities.
