This homemade costume for babies entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Mandy, the 'Harper the Chicken' costume creator:
This is Harper Mae and it's her first Halloween! We decided to go as a chicken because her cousin was a raven so we stuck with the bird family :)
We got the idea from Martha Stewart (of course!) but we didn't quite follow her exact steps, instead of stuffing 2 onesies (I thought that would be too hot) we just sewed on the boa to a long sleeve white onesie, ordered some yellow leggings, cut the rooster gobbler out of some red felt and sewed that onto a pilot cap! She was the talk of the town!
