This homemade costume for families entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Kristy, the 'Harry Potter Crew' costume creator:
We were so excited because this is our son's first Halloween so we had to impress!
Snape: Graduation Robe, thrift store coat, white shirt, Michael Jackson wig we bought on Amazon, black pants and wand that we made out of chopsticks, glue and paint.
Bellatrix: Wig from Amazon, lots of makeup, dress orginally part of a "sexy sorceress" costume that I cut up, sewed and decorated to look more like Bellatrix's ravaged look, black skirt, black boots, and a wand.
Dobby: By far the cutest member of the family. Ears were made out of felt and glued to a wig cap, shirt was a pillow case that was dirtied and cut to fit him and we made little shorts out of the extra fabric we had.
