Harvest Hero Costume

My 3 year old son loves the farm and idolizes his farming Grandpa, who drives a John Deere combine. When asked what he wanted to be for Halloween this year, a combine was his only idea and no matter how much I tried to talk him out of it for fear I couldn't create one, he stuck to his guns. I researched the Internet for instuctions but only found some photos to use as inspiration. I stared with one larger box, cut a hole for his body on top and spray painted it green. I then cut some smaller boxes to fashion the picker and cab. To fasten together, I hated to screw the boxes together. I used styrofoam cones and circles for the front wheels and coffee can lids for the rear wheels. He loves his costume and so did everyone else in our close-knit farming community!
