Hat Box Ghost Costume

All photos are of me wearing my Halloween costume this year, or of the hatbox prop I built. I have been a huge fan of the Haunted Mansion and the hatbox ghost since I was a young child, and this costume was inspired by the original 1960s artwork and illustrations of that character. For my costume though I wanted to take it in a different direction and create something more realistic and as period accurate as possible. I spent a great deal of time researching Victorian men's fashion and sourcing the materials and garments. I spent about a month acquiring and distressing everything. The makeup was applied by Jason Henricks and I acquired the prosthetic from mostlydead.com.
