Headless Bride Costume

This costume was really fun to make! I made a bust out of an old turtleneck covered in duct tape. I then stuffed it with newspaper and painted it cream colored. I found an old wedding dress at a thrift store and put the bust on it. I used two wooden rods to connect the bust to a backpack and cut a hold in the waist of the dress for my head to pop through. For photos I got down on one knee. The costume was actually pretty comfortable as you can wear jeans and a tee-shirt under the backpack.
