This homemade costume for girls entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jade, the 'Headless Maid' costume creator:
My daughter wanted to be a headless costume of some kind so I brough3 the maid costume in my size and measured it to wear her head would need to come out I bought and inflatable body I cut the head off and stuff the torso and arms with grocery bags I purchased skeleton hands to fill black gloves and plastic silver plates...i measured her neck and cut the plate to fit around her I than drenched an old sick in fake blood to put around her neck so the plastic would not irritate her skin..i than used black and white face make up and fake blood for her skin and the costume...she wore and old book bag to hold the fake torso up
