Headless Butler Costume

My kids always like to do some kind of optical illusion costume, so when we saw the idea online for a headless person, we had to try it! My son was the butler, and my daughter (separate entry) was the maid. We used mannequin torsos cut to rest on their shoulders, and clothes from goodwill, modified through cutting and sewing, to fit/cover them. The necks have cut up t-shirt strips glued to them and saturated with fake blood. The pair had a ball at the school parade and trick or treating...and definitely turned a lot of heads:)
