This homemade costume for couples entered our 2016 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Jamela, the 'Hercules and Megara' costume creator:
The idea came from wanting to be a unique couple but wanted to do something along the lines of Roman citizens. Megara's outfit is all homemade. I got a long purple dress and bought some fabric at the store and sewed it together. Hercules was bought, but the cape was originally red, so he made a blue one. The shin guards were 100% handmade with fabric and string from the store!
