"Here She Comes, Ready or Not!" Costume

I found out I was pregnant in February and Due right around Halloween (27th). Halloween is my thing (I even persuaded my husband into having a Creepy Halloween themed wedding!!) so I knew that I couldn't let it go by without using it!! I found an old doll at a church sale for a quarter and went to town... there is cardboard on the inside of my shirt that I glued the arms and legs to. This was a big trial and error process- the limbs were heavier than the shirt! Eventually I got them to stay and then came the liquid latex and fake blood for both my shirt and my skin! It was so much fun and turned out perfectly!! And when the baby kicked inside it would make the arms and legs flail which was a surprise creepy addition!!
