Hot Shots Vending Machine Costume

This is my costume for 2017. I am actually wearing the costume! I went on Pinterest for some ideas, and came across candy vending machines; and I thought, "Wow! What a great idea to have a vending machine that dispensed miniature liquor bottles for adults!" The idea was born!
I used the following:
-2 U-Haul packing boxes; one to wear with the head and arm holes; and the other to attach to the front of the other box for the display.
-lots of black duck tape to tape everything together
-black spray paint
-hot glue
-battery operated lights
-laminating film
-packaging from scented melting wax (for the buttons)
-Miniature liquor bottles and plastic shot cups
(The total cost for the idea was around $40, depending on how much the miniatures cost!)

After cutting the head and arm holes; I cut the second box to fit on the front of that box for the display. After hot gluing and taping the 2 boxes together, I spay pained it black. Once dry. I taped the lights on the inside of the vending machine, and cut a whole for the battery pack to fit through. I taped the backs of each bottle, then hot glued the bottles onto the front. I did use a styrofoam tube to make the choice labels under each bottle. For the selection buttons I used the packaging from the little melting wax squares; perfect buttons! On the side, I cut a little slot the feed into where it said "PUSH," and I could slip a little miniature bottle in, and you could pull your selection out!!!!
