This homemade costume for girls entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Olen, the 'I Dream of Jeannie' costume creator:
Darcy May told me that she wanted two costumes for Halloween. I Dream Of Jeannie and Wonder Woman. Being a 52 year old man and never sewing anything in my life I took to the internet to find them. She is very small. A size 4T. I could find nothing that looked realistic. I went to Walmart and bought fabric because she wanted hers to be purple. After looking at several photos of Barbara Eden as Jeannie I then started threading a needle and sewing. It took me 16 hours to sew this by hand and I must say I am pretty proud of her costume. She is a happy girl and Darcy makes it look beautiful. Yes I did paint the Jeannie bottle as well. Thank you for reading.
