I Work Out Costume

This is my 2-year old daughter. My husband came up with the idea of making her a female body builder for Halloween and left me in charge of the execution of the costume. So off to Amazon I went... I found a set of plastic dumbbells for $12.95 (they are the kind you can adjust by filling the plastic “weights” with sand or water, so they don’t really weigh anything as-is, perfect for a toddler), a yard of sequin fabric for $7.97, and a little kids muscle t-shirt for $23 (although there were some for as low as $7, they just didn’t come in a small enough size for my daughter). I made the candy bucket from one of my husband’s protein canisters and found the glasses and sweatband laying around in a closet. We also already had the leggings as a part of a matching 2T Adidas set. I sewed the sequin top and then sewed it onto the muscle T-shirt so it would stay put. She loved the costume and all of our friends and family thought it was hysterical. Hope you like it!
