This homemade costume for girls entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Patrick, the 'Ian Lightfoot' costume creator:
My daughter Gabriella Smith is Ian Lightfoot from the Disney movie "Onward"
The clothes came from discount retailers like Marshals, Ross, and Thrift stores.
The wig was purchased from WalMart, cut to the right size and curled to match the Ian from the movie.
The staff was a branch from a tree, the end of the branch we used wire from Home depot to mold the skeleton of the top.
we used paper mache to finish the stick to match the movie, which was painted brown using acrylic brown.
The face was made by using a foam molded into the face. we then used paper mache to finish it off
all saning was done with 3m sand paper
