I'm On a Boat Costume

This costume started off as just a captains hat and jacket, and quickly morphed into more! I had a great time making this, and total cost was $3 (for paint). I wore it to a bar and even though it was a bit bulky, it was a hit! Everyone who got the reference thought it was hilarious.

I used cardboard, paint, and a glue gun to hold it all together. Present ribbon kept it up (but i'd suggest something comfier). I added a windshield made of bendable metal and clear tape. I printed off Andy Samberg and T-Pain, glued them onto cardboard, and then to the front of the boat.

I used battery operated mini lights which I connected through the bottom of the boat so you couldn't see any wire.

I had an absolute blast with this costume and can't wait to come up with something equally as awesome next year!! :)
