A word from Danielle, the 'Jackson Express Train Conductor' costume creator:
My son Jackson is two years old. His love for trains inspired me to make his costume especially since he already had the overalls, hat and bandanna. I used a diaper box and painted it black and added gold and red. I used paper plates for the wheels and then painted them black and red. For the smokestack I glued on a plastic cup and filled it with cotton. To make it easy to wear I added black ribbon to go over the shoulders. For the front of the train I stuck on a plastic bowl and attached a real working tap light to top it off. I already had everything to make the costume except the tap light and red paint. The total amount of money that was spent on the train was only $2.50. Jackson loves to wear his costume and everyone that sees it always stops and goes crazy over it and wants to take pictures.
