Jasmine in Flying Carpet Costume

My daughter had loved the movie Aladdin . So this time she wanted to be a character from Aladdin.so we decided to get her a Jasmine costume.But then i thouht why not try to make it at home and thus the idea of jasmine with flying carpet.The carpet is made with cardboard with a hole in the center and glued a table cloth to make it look like a carpet.I had some cloth blue in color,so stitched a blouse and pants with the cloth.the Legs were stuffed with sponge from old pillow with socks and glued to the cardboard.As she tried the costume she had problem with it staying in place.so we tied to ropes below the legs and tied it to her waist.The final product looked very nice and she was excited to go trick or treating.
