My husband and I come from the Coachella Valley (CA) where our ice cream men are Paleteros and we loved the idea of bringing that to life with a great costume for our 1 year old Jaxon! We had to make the cart out of a Pampers box on top of his walker surrounded by construction paper and then lots of hot glued snack items you would find on a regular Paletero. It was so fun to make but even more fun trick or treating and seeing how much people loved it, just like us! Ice cream anyone?
