Jellyfish Costume

I am wearing this homemade Jellyfish costume. I got the idea off Pinterest. They showed Jellyfish costumes made by using a bubble umbrella. I didn’t want to carry around an umbrella all night (plus isn’t it bad luck to open an umbrella indoors? Lol) I bought a soft rimmed hat, assorted wire-trimmed ribbons in ocean colors, some sparkly some sheer, a tutu that I deconstructed, some led lights with battery packs and fiber fill stuffing. I hot glued it all together. I bought supplies at Walmart and Michael’s. I used coupons and bought sale items. Total cost was about $30. When the lights are dimmed it really looks amazing. It took me a couple of hours broken down in two days. About 4 hours total not including shopping for materials. It was a big hit!
