Joker and Harley Quinn Costume

My boyfriend Jesse and I love Batman.. particularly the villains against Batman. The characters of the Joker and Harley Quinn have always been eccentric and have intrigued me and Jesse, so we were so excited to bring these characters to life.

We both spent no more than $15 on our costumes. Mine is made from 2 long sleeve t-shirts. I cut them in half vertically and horizontally, then I flipped the bottom half so they would alternate from the top half. I pinned them at the seams. I had two halves of the t-shirts leftover, so I used those as high socks. For Jesse's costume, he used his own clothes or Goodwill clothes. He could not find green hair dye spray so he bought blue and yellow and sprayed alternating layers of dye in his hair until he got his desired color.

We had so much fun as these characters!
