Katy Perry and Left Shark Costume

My boyfriend and I knew that we needed to dress up as Left Shark and Katy Perry in her beach ball outfit as we were watching the Superbowl halftime show. We found the shark costume immediately, but I couldn't find anything anywhere resembling the beach ball dress. I bought a white skirt, and used an old white bra to create an outline for what I hoped would turn out to look like Katy's dress, and then my awesome mom (who had just gotten out of the hospital the weekend before!) spent the week painting/sewing on the colors. It came out better than I expected!
