This homemade costume for couples entered our 2015 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Nan, the 'Katy Sharks' costume creator:
My fiancé and I were in love with Katy Perry's half time show at the 2015 Super Bowl. What made the performance even better was her spunky back-up shark dancers known as the Katy Sharks. We thus decided to be the Katy sharks for Halloween. The costume was completely homemade using blue, white and black acrylic felt and a glue gun! We accompanied our costumes with a cutout of Katy Perry which we printed and pieced together on cardboard. Our costume cost a total of $30 (for both shark outfits!) and was such a hit, that Katy Perry herself even "liked" it on my Instagram!!!
