Killer Bride Costume

I got an inspiration to be a killer bride because from time to time I think about the fact that I will never find the one for me. Which makes me believe I will never get married. I decided to make it a joke between my friends and I. They claimed that was the first and last time I would be in a veil and wearing a wedding ring.

I had on three veils. One in which was a fabric left over from my sister's wedding. I got a clip and I sowed it to the veil.

I decided to rip and cut my shirt with scissors so the writing " I DO" was visible.

The skirt had blood on it that I spilled.

I wrote I DO in eyeliner, blood & colored pencils as a dramatic touch on my chest because every bride must say I do before she is married.

With blood & colored pencils I was able to get a 3D effect of a garter on my leg. Another dramatic touch that I enjoyed doing.

I sprayed blood near my eye to make it look like a tear dropping down my cheek. Also I had a unique scar on the side of my face but it is not shown very well in the photo. I used latex, toilet paper & blood to make the scar seem 3D.

For the finishing touch I used white contacts to distinguish my look.

Everyone was amazed by my look. People were pointing and telling there friends to turn around and look at me. Strangers asked for photos. I received a lot of compliments that night.
