King Kong on Empire State Building Costume

My son decided he wanted to be something original. He liked my sisters gorilla costume and that is where the idea came from.

The Empire State Building is made from foam board bought at your local craft store. Painted it gray and taped on small squares made out of contatruction paper. The head is a gorilla mask we bought at a local thrift store. For the body I took one of his onesie pjs and cut the shape from some fur I bought at the fabric store.

The back of the Empire State Building has a hole for his body to fit through and the body of the gorilla also has a hole so that it looks like he is climbing the building. The leg are stuffed and pinned into the foam board.
