King & Queen of Spades Costume

This is myself & my husband. We saw inspiration online from someone whom handmade this costume set & thought it would be fun to re-create ourselves. All aspects of these two costumes are handmade, from sewing, to hand cutting poster board & hand-traced images/decals to felt pcs.. My husband helped in hand weaving duct tape to create my cummerbund & also his sash. Materials used were IKEA Fabrics, sewing machine, thread, fabric glue, felt, foam sheets, poster & foam poster boards, duct tape, white & black face paint & more. It was quite the head turner & won us the Best Couple Costume prize at a Halloween Bash.
