Koala and a Tree Costume

My name is Krystal and I'm the tree and my best friend Briana is the Koala. We got the idea from Pinterest. For the tree, I bought a casual brown sweater from a regular clothing store and bought safety pins song with a fake vine of leaves at Michaels Craft store. I just cut the leaves and pinned them on my sweater. I also bought a plain mask and hot glued leaves on. Simple brown leggings and boots that I already owned made it complete. As for the koala, a simple gray sweater, leggings and sneakers that she already owned, she purchased a piece of white felt and cut it in an oval shape and pinned it to the sweater, this way the sweater could be worn again after the costume. We couldn't find koala ears so we bought mouse ears because they were pretty similar. And just a little black circle on her nose with eyeliner. Very cheap costume and easy for last minute. All for about 20$
