This homemade costume for pets entered our 2014 Halloween Costume Contest.

Here are our dogs dressed as a Koopa Troopa and Chain Chomp from Mario Brothers. (Also, me and my husband dressed at Mario and Luigi).
Both costumes are mostly homemade, the Chain Chomp costume is actually a large pumpkin bucket cut to fit our dog, Laser. The Koopa Troopa costume is made from fleece and completely designed, fitted and sewed by my husband.
