Diary of a Wimpy Kid Costume

My son Braydon is wearing Diary of a Wimpy Kid costume. He loves the books so this was an easy choice. The head is made from paper mache (flour and water) we covered a beach ball and allowed it to dry. It take about 4 layers. The hair and ears are made from a thin sheet of styrofoam and hot glued to the head and the nose is a foam ball trimmed to the right shape and size. The mouth was cut out so he can see where he is going and covered with screen. I also lined the head with a piece of foam so that it would rest correctly and be comfortable. The book was just printed out and taped to a cardboard box. Gloves and clothes are store bought and we used the backpack to collect candy!
