Little Minion Costume

Our little guy (6 years old) wanted to be a Minion this year. It was our job to make it happen for him! We used a plastic trash can, bright yellow fleece, denim, Mason Jar lids, black pipe cleaners, old messenger bags for straps.
We cut the bottom off the trash can to make it lighter for him to carry. Then sewed a form fitting exterior out of the yellow fleece complete with denim overalls and buttons. Mason Jar lids were used for the eyes attached with a messenger bag strap. Holes were drilled in the top of the can and pipe cleaners inserted and hot glued on the inside to keep them in place. Straps were attached on the inside so the costume could rest on child's shoulders. Insert child and enjoy the smiles of many!!
