The Lollipop Guild Worlds Cutest Munchkin! Costume

This is a picture of my 16 month old son Sawyer dressed as a Munchkin from the Lollipop Guild, from the movie The Wizard of Oz. The idea came to me during bath time as I played with his hair during shampooing. I googled images and put our own spin on it. We used an existing pair of shorts and dress shirt to get the size right. There is no pattern for this particular outfit. After it was sewn together we added the big bright buttons. The lollipop is made of styrofoam and construction paper and mounted on a dowel. It wasn't the simplest project, but so worth the effort!
