This homemade costume for boys entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Amanda, the 'Lucas the Spider' costume creator:
My 3 year old son, Dash, is dressed as Lucas the Spider this year.
I glued the eyes to a brown fleece for the face. For the body and legs I sewed faux rabbit fur. The body is filled with batting and bungeed to his wheelchair. The legs are cut up pool noodles inside the fabric. They are attached with zip ties and tied up to the right shape with fishing line.
The fabric was the most expensive piece, probably $40 all in.
