Lucy Duck Costume

The idea came from my love or Donald Duck, plain and simple. Although my daughter, Lucy, is all smiles now, for the first couple months of life she had a sourpuss look on her face that always reminded me of Donald Duck and it just cracked me up. While hunting down supplies to make the full costume I found the top second hand. I wanted to make it a little more feminine choose a bow instead of a hat and added a tutu. This was my first diy tutu. I decided to make the length quite short to give it a spunky look and less dressy. Also, to give you a chance to spot her little duck tail underneath! For the tutu, I simply did the loop through, no sew method as opposed to sewing. We are over the moon with how it turned out!
