This homemade costume for men entered our 2020 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Bryan, the 'Luigi's Mansion 3' costume creator:
My costume is inspired by the Luigi's Mansion 3 Nintendo Switch video game.
The clothing items were store bought (bib overalls, T-shirt, hat & gloves). Everything else was made in my home workshop.
The Poltergust G-00 is predominantly fabricated from EVA foam and PVC pipe/fittings. Finished with spray paint over Plastidip and primer.
The wand was made to accommodate two different attachments - the vacuum and the flashlight.
Remote control LED puck lights were added - one in the Gooigi chamber and one in the flashlight.
Clothing and materials cost $152, but I did have some parts already on hand (adhesives, brown vinyl, webbed straps, craft foam, cable wrap for the vacuum cord).
