This homemade costume for couples entered our 2019 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Tonya, the 'Luke and Leia' costume creator:
These are replicas of the outfits worn by Luke and Leia i. The original Star award movies when they are on the planet Hoth. I made both of these costumes, Leia is from scratch using a coverall pattern, Luke is pieced together with thrift store finds and alterations. The electronics are hand sculpted using rubber clay and hand painted.
