This homemade costume for girls entered our 2018 Halloween Costume Contest.
A word from Pucci, the 'Luna & Artemis' costume creator:
Athena is wearing Artemis the cat costume that is mainly white with a cat mask. Alicia is wearing Lunar the cat costume that is mainly black. I got the idea from a Japanese comic story ‘ sailor moon’
Because our family are big fans of it and we all love kittens. That’s why we have adopted two kitties. I am a person who love fashion design and parenting so I like to let my girls involve in my project to know more about their mom’s job. But machine sewing and hand stitching are too advanced for a 6yrs and 7yrs kid. Then I figured out using trash bag instead of fabric. Gathering materials by using decorative tape instead of machine sewing and hand stitching. We had so much fun to work together. My girls love fashion design and know team work is a great way for achievement.
